Man Amongst Men is a movement built on one truth: the potential of young Black men has never been lost, only overlooked. We exist to call it forth. We are both mirror and mentor reflecting the greatness already within our brothers, and building the discipline to carry it into the world. Our work is to awaken, equip, and empower young Black men to become architects of their own reality: leaders in business, pillars in community, and grounded men in their homes. Through etiquette, discipline, and entrepreneurial training, we don’t just teach skills. We initiate transformation.

We guide each brother to reclaim authorship of his life to write his story with clarity, power, and legacy at the center. Founded in 2026, Man Amongst Men is committed to serving our community with compassion, respect, and integrity. Built on lived experiences and a deep understanding of the challenges many young men face, our mission is to create a space where growth is intentional, guidance is accessible, and transformation is possible.
While our organization is new, the foundation it stands on is not. It is rooted in years of observation, personal development, and a calling to bridge the gap between potential and purpose. We recognize that many men are navigating life without structure, mentorship, or clear direction—and Man Amongst Men exists to change that narrative.
Through mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement, we aim to equip individuals with the tools needed to move with confidence, discipline, and clarity. We are committed to fostering an environment where accountability is embraced, identity is strengthened, and purpose is realized.
As we grow, we remain focused on evolving with the needs of our community—meeting people where they are while challenging them to become who they are capable of being. Man Amongst Men is more than an organization; it is a movement dedicated to building stronger men, stronger families, and ultimately, a stronger community.
Before Man Amongst Men had a name, it existed as a weight—a quiet knowing that Tellis Anderson could not ignore.
He found himself repeatedly entering spaces where men were present but not anchored. Potential was evident, often loud, yet direction remained absent. He observed power without a blueprint, brilliance without guidance, confidence without grounding, and ambition without structure. In those moments, he recognized reflections of his younger self—men standing at the same unresolved crossroads.
There comes a defining point in a man’s life when survival is no longer enough—when he realizes he is called to reshape the narrative for others. For Tellis Anderson, that moment did not arrive with ease. It emerged through loss, through repeated cycles of gain and setback, through life applying pressure until clarity was unavoidable. What once appeared as hardship revealed itself as preparation. Each setback refined him. Each lesson equipped him with a voice he would eventually be called to use.
Man Amongst Men was born from that realization.
To him, it is not simply a program—it is a bridge between where a young man stands and who he is capable of becoming.
He recognized a recurring gap: many men are taught how to react to life, but not how to command themselves within it. They are shown style without substance, hustle without discipline, image without identity. Without a defined identity, a man becomes a product of whatever environment he enters.
This work is centered on restoring that identity.
It teaches men how to carry themselves without an audience, how to communicate with intention, how to move with purpose, how to build rather than consume. It prepares them to enter spaces that once felt inaccessible—and to belong there not by permission, but by preparation.
While etiquette is part of the training, the deeper focus is alignment—mind, body, spirit, and action operating in cohesion. When a man becomes aligned within himself, he no longer seeks validation from the outside world. He becomes a stabilizing force within it.
Tellis Anderson did not create Man Amongst Men to produce followers. He built it to develop leaders, thinkers, and builders—men who understand that true power is rooted in discipline, not dominance; in presence, not noise; in substance, not visibility.
This is legacy work. When one man rises with awareness, his growth extends beyond himself—it influences his family, his community, and future generations.
Man Amongst Men was never solely about the individuals it serves.
It was the fulfillment of a calling—to become the example he once needed, and to ensure that the next generation does not have to navigate their path without guidance.
